The Musée Maillol, rue de Grenelle: hours, prices, and Thursday evenings
Hours: daily, late opening on Thursday
The museum opens daily from 10:30am to 6:30pm, and on Thursday until 10pm. Ticket counters close 1.5 hours before closing: last ticket around 5pm on weekdays, around 8:30pm on Thursday. Galleries begin to be cleared at 6:15pm. We recommend Thursday evening: you visit after a day of museums elsewhere, and you return to the 7th for dinner.

The entrance: a green carriage door
You enter through 59 rue de Grenelle, a green carriage door, by ringing the intercom labeled "Gardien-sécurité". We mention this because our guests often walk past it without seeing it. The museum is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, with an elevator to the floors and wheelchairs available on loan at the ticket desk against an ID. Strollers are not accepted: plan to bring a front baby carrier.
Getting there
The stations indicated by the museum are Rue du Bac, Sèvres-Babylone and Saint-Sulpice for the metro, and Musée d'Orsay for the RER. From our hotel, avenue Duquesne, the museum is in the same arrondissement, to the east, on the Saint-Germain side. The RER at Musée d'Orsay allows you to combine it with Orsay on the same Thursday: both museums have a late opening that evening.
