Short answer: our Triple room
For three people, we have a category made for that: the Triple room. 16 m², a queen bed and a sofa bed, a private bathroom directly accessible from the room. We have five, which means one is often available when other categories are full.
It’s the room we give to a family with a child or teenager, and to three friends traveling together. Amenities: air conditioning, flat‑screen TV, high‑speed Wi‑Fi, minibar, wardrobe, hair dryer.
What 16 m² for three really means
Let’s be honest: 16 m² for three is Parisian. The room is designed for three to sleep comfortably, not to spend the whole day together. The queen bed takes the central spot, the sofa bed unfolds in the evening, and the bathroom is yours alone, not shared.
If you need more space, our Junior Suite with View is 28 m², with a queen bed, a two‑armchair sitting area, a desk and a view of the Eiffel Tower. It is also advertised for a maximum of three people. We only have two, so it books quickly.
Three the first night, two thereafter
That’s a request we get often, and it works fine: tell us the number of guests night by night, not an average for the stay. “Three on the 19th, two from the 20th to the 22nd” is enough. This precision lets us give a fair quote, because the third guest isn’t charged as a two‑person night and the room category can change during the stay.
Two practical tips:
- Tell us at booking, not on arrival: a surprise extra guest at the desk means we have to find a room on the spot.
- If you’re two but want separate beds: ask for the Twin Room instead of a Double; that’s exactly what it’s for.
Why the 7th works well for three
The neighborhood does half the work, and that matters when traveling as three: less metro, fewer negotiations. We are at 5 avenue Duquesne, between the Invalides and the Champ de Mars, on a wide, quiet avenue.
- The Champ de Mars: the large lawn at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. It’s where you take a child who has walked all day and no longer wants a museum. Early morning the lawn is yours; at dusk you get the illumination.
- The Invalides: the golden dome, Napoleon’s tomb and the esplanade in front. It’s our immediate neighbor, and a visit fits in a morning without transport.
- Rue Cler: the semi‑pedestrian shopping street of the area. It’s our go‑to for dinner for three without a reservation, and for picking up a picnic for the Champ de Mars instead of eating out three times a day.
- Rodin Museum: 77 rue de Varenne. The garden is visited like a park, making it the easiest museum in the neighborhood when everyone doesn’t have the same patience.
The rules, no unpleasant surprises
The Triple room is non‑smoking and pets are not allowed. We do not permit events in the rooms. Check‑in is from 15:00, check‑out at 11:00.
In the morning we serve a Parisian breakfast in our breakfast room, solving the first question of the day for three. In the evening we have a speakeasy‑style hotel bar with a classic cocktail menu, if the adults want to wind down after the third one is in bed.
