Paris Photo returns to the Grand Palais from 12 to 15 November 2026. It's the big annual photography fair: galleries, publishers and specialist booksellers, talks with photographers and book signings. For us on avenue Duquesne it's a neighbourhood event: the Grand Palais sits right across the Seine from the Invalides.
Dates and programme
The fair runs from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November 2026. Some sites give 11 November as the start; the official agenda schedules talks and signings from the 12th. Signings are listed 1pm-8pm on 12 and 13 November, and the auditorium hosts conversations through the afternoon, for example Thomas Ruff on 12 November at 2pm. These require a fair ticket. According to Artprice, the 2026 edition brings 246 exhibitors from 38 countries, including 199 galleries.
Tickets
Tickets are listed at €36-41 (prices checked in October 2026 by Artlovers). We suggest booking online before you come: weekends draw the biggest crowds.
Getting there from the 7th
On a dry day, walk across the Esplanade des Invalides and over the Pont Alexandre III, which lands right in front of the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais. By metro, line 8 links École Militaire, our nearest station, to Invalides; from there it's just the bridge. Champs-Élysées Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13) serves the Grand Palais on the Right Bank.
Our advice for the day
A fair this size tires the eyes quickly. Come early afternoon, pick one or two talks from the agenda and build the visit around them. In the morning, the musée Rodin and the Invalides are on the way. In the evening, our bar is here: a discreet speakeasy-style bar with classic cocktails and chef-driven food.
